Soft Pastel Classes:
My classes are held at the Maniatoto Community Arts Centre, Reade St, Ranfurly, Central Otago, New Zealand.

Accommodation in Ranfurly:
The Ranfurly Holiday Park is over the road, Trout & Trail B& B, The Waipiata Hotel, Waipiata Lodge, Hawkdun Lodge Motel, Kokanga Lodge, Ranfurly Motel, various Air BnB's and holiday homes in the Naseby and Ranfurly area. Accommodation, travel and meals not included in the class fee.

Ranfurly Pastel Classes 2025 - from 9.30am - 4.30pm. Doors open for setup from 9am.
Subject - your choice - something that moves you, that you know and love - from your own images.
These friendly and informative classes will help you with painting composition and soft pastel technique.
February 22nd & 23rd Weekend 4 vacancies
March 22nd & 23rd Weekend 4 vacancies
April 25th, 26th & 27th - three days over a weekend 5 vacancies
May 24th & 25th Weekend 4 vacancies
August 23rd & 24 Weekend 1 vacancy
September 27th & 28th Weekend 3 vacancies
October 24th, 25th & 26th - three days over a weekend 5 vacancies
November 22nd & 23rd Weekend 4 vacancies
note: where a class is full, I am happy to take names on the wait list. Please contact me.
Class fee $200 per weekend class, $300 per three day class, payable 7 days before class.
Full refund or fee transferred to another month if the class cannot go ahead.
No refund for non-attendance.
Please paint from an image on your iPad or bring a photo print. No Inkjet printouts, they are not accurate in colour.
BYO pastels and art materials. Easels and tables are provided. Morning & afternoon tea are provided
(standard foods - if you have other dietary needs, you could bring your own or there are supermarkets nearby)
Class limited to 10 pupils maximum, 7 minimum

I am an Associate Artist of Unison Colour Pastels - I have stock of these gorgeous pastels for purchase at my workshops @$9.80 a stick, along with assorted Art Spectrum Colourfix paper, full sheets, $17 per sheet.
